Dachshund

Dachshunds are equally feisty with magnetic personalities, and sweetly sensitive little loves. These small dogs are fiercely protective of their owners and will bark at anyone who approaches. They are active, but not hyperactive. Dachshunds enjoy being around people and other dogs, especially if they are raised with them from puppyhood.
Use caution when your Dachshund is around young children. Their long backs are more delicate, and they need gentle handling.
Australian Cattle Dog

Australian Cattle Dogs are enthusiastic companions who will do everything in their power to please their owners. They are active and energetic and need plenty of exercise. Australian Cattle Dogs are natural herders, so they will be happiest if they have a job to do. It doesn't have to be herding. Mentally stimulating toys and plenty of exercise can take the place of herding. Just know, they want to do everything with you.

The loyalty of the Whippet is epic. This breed shows absolute dedication to their owners and will do whatever they can to please them, including fetching and carrying items around the house or yard. They are very affectionate and love being around people. If you are looking for a dog that likes to cuddle, this could be your breed.
Great Dane

Great Danes are big goofs, but they're also loyal and devoted. They love their people and need to be part of the family. Great Danes do mature a bit more slowly than other, smaller breeds, so be ready to handle a big dog with a puppy's personality. These dogs know how to love and are surprisingly sensitive, so be ready to handle your oversized pup who wants to crawl into your lap.
Great Danes may be large, but they're known to startle easily, so don't be surprised if your pup bolts when they're startled.
