Amber L. Drake is a Holistic Canine Cancer Counselor and Writer and owns several organizations including Canine Companions, The Holistic Canine, and Drake Dog Cancer Foundation. She also holds a certificate in canine nutrition from the Companion Animal Sciences Institute. Amber works with clients throughout the nation and assists clients with general questions, counseling, nutrition, writing services, and educational resources. Amber and her associated organizations work side-by-side with corporations, rescue organizations, and private clients.

Science and Education

Amber L. Drake has been an Adjunct Professor of Biology in the Continuing Education and Biology departments at Jamestown Community College in Jamestown, New York for 10+ years. Courses she has offered include Anatomy and Physiology Lab, Biology of Birds, Biology of Mammals, Canine Care and Basic Animal Husbandry. In addition to teaching at Jamestown Community College, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at Kaplan University. She also teaches courses with e-Training for Dogs, Mentoray, OpenLearning, and several others.

In regard to her education, she has earned a Traditional Doctor of Naturopathy and a Doctor of Education (ABD) with a specialization in e-Learning. Amber has also earned a Post-Master's Educational Specialist certificate, a Master of Arts in Education and Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. She has completed coursework in Biochemistry at UC Berkeley, Veterinary Technology at Penn Foster, and Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. She is continuously enrolling in additional coursework to remain well-rounded and up-to-date in her field.
